At MCFI, our mission is to assist individuals and families with special needs to better live and work in the community. As a PT you will provide treatment to individuals with a variety of disabilities such as general developmental delays, post CVA, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders and accidents. We have Nautilus and other state-of-the-art equipment along with other experienced therapists.
We are looking for a full-time therapist to work with children (Birth to Three).
Administering various physical therapy assessment tools as part of a comprehensive evaluation identifying consumer’s strength and deficits in areas including but not limited to: gross motor function, independent living, functional abilities, balance, coordination, mobility, muscle strength, range of motion and sensation
Creating and implementing individual plan of care including goals and objectives toward achievement of long term goals per discharge plan
Establishing therapeutic relationships with consumers and families/caregivers to facilitate goal achievement
Providing carry-over training to consumer’s family and conducting training and providing consultation as requested to agency staff, external organizations and the community at large
Providing supervision to Physical Therapist Assistant that is compliant with state regulation,
Completing timely and accurate documentation that is compliant with established guidelines of department and payer sources
Assisting in marketing and the development of relationships with external referral sources
