Hand Therapist - Pool - .001 Fte - Froedtert Hospital - Milwaukee, Wi

Develops and excuse rehabilitation plans for the patient with an upper extremity injury or disease in accordance with physician orders in order to obtain optimal function and well being of the injured patient. In doing so, assesses patient's condition, provides therapeutic treatments, observes and documents patient's progress, communicates with other health care professionals. Assists in training and education of others. B.S. or B.A. degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy. Current licensure as an OT or PT with the State of Wisconsin. Experience in the treatment of upper extremity injuries including shoulder rehab. Good interpersonal and analytical/problem solving skills. Holds or willing to pursue Hand Therapist certification. At least 2 years experience in the treatment of upper extremity injuries or upon employment interview. Advancement to Certified Hand Therapist status is encouraged. Ability to walk and stand very frequently (51-80% of time) in a fast paced clinic setting. Basic Life Support Certificate. *POOL HOURS* We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
