Briefly Describe your Organizational Culture Southwest Health Center is nestled amongst the  rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin.  Located in Platteville, WI, home to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Southwest Health Center provides big city care with a small town appeal.  As a result of the emerging health services of Platteville and the surrounding communities, Southwest Health Center builtt a brand new facility.  Southwest Health Center's small town appeal is evidenced in the care not only that we provide to our patients and residents but also to our fellow co-workers.  Many of our employees work alongside family and friends and therefore Southwest Health Center trully serves as a second family to our staff.

Briefly Describe the Interview Process for PT Positions

Candidates for the Physical Therapist position typically interview with the Rehab Services Manager.   The Rehab department is a small, close knit team and therefore interviews may also consist of an additional staff member.

Please Describe the Orientation Program for New PTs.

Staff new to the Physical Therapy department are paired with an existing Physical Therapist for their orientation.  The length of orientation is tailored to the new staff member to ensure they are comfortable with the assumed responsibilities.
Briefly Describe Your Organization's Philosophy Towards Patient Care Southwest Health Center's mission is Caring.  For Life.  Our mission drives us to provide the utmost to our patients and residents, who may also be our family and friends.  The care we provide our patients is enforced through our accreditation with Joint Commission and our committees established to ensure the utmost in patient care.  Physical Therapists  are members of multidisciplinary teams that steer the care of our patients and residents.  The Patient Safety and Falls Reduction Teams are a few.
