Interview Process
Briefly Describe the Interview Process for PT Positions All candidates will get a tour of the facility and introduction to the company and culture.
Two people from the Therapy Department will interview each candidate. 
Job Shadowing is available upon request. 

A second interview will follow for successful candidates.

Please Describe the Orientation Program for New PTs. All new employees will start with an extensive three day general orientation. 
After that, we match the new Physical Therapist with an experienced Physical Therapist. 
As a new employee, you will go through a Computer Based Orientation Program.
An individualized orientation program will be mutually developed. 
Briefly Describe Your Organization's Philosophy Towards Patient Care Dove Healthcare provides a progressive, short-term rehabilitation program designed to help residents recover quickly and return home safely. The oganization provides post-hospitalization therapy to restore patients to their normal lifestyles in an atmosphere as close to home as possible. Caring attention is provided by individuals our residents can trust and count on to be there for them. Therapists, nurses, wound specialists, social workers, dieticians, and a physiatrist work together to deliver safe, personalized care in an effective and timely manner.

Company In-Depth
Company History

Dove Healthcare began business in early 1997 when the Center of Care was purchased from Eau Claire County. Built in 1982, the existing structure on Eau Claire's west side remained licensed as a 140 bed nursing home as Dove Healthcare began operations.

Within two years, Dove added the first of its affiliates, Orchard Hills Assisted Living. The 12 bed Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) occupied an empty wing of the Dove Healthcare building. In 2000, the facility expanded into a second wing, adding 12 more beds. In 2005, Orchard Hills moved into an adjacent new 26 bed structure, leaving the previously occupied space open for growth at Dove Healthcare. Today, this vacated space houses The Suites as part of our Transitions short-term rehabilitation program. Dove Healthcare's license capacity increased to a 160 bed skilled nursing facility. Orchard Hills is now a 39 bed assisted living facility, having seen the last of its expansion in 2008.

In 2004, Dove Healthcare added another affiliate, Rutledge Home, a 92 bed nursing home in Chippewa Falls. Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center, a 135 bed skilled nursing facility, purchased as a third affliate in late 2005. In early 2007, Rutledge Home merged operations with Wissota Health. The merger allowed for more efficient operations at both Chippewa Falls facilities. Since then, Rutledge Home has been transitioned into a 31 bed assisted living facility with part of it's focus on Memory Care.

Through the years since Dove Healthcare's origination, it is clear our steady growth is a result of our consistent approach— defining what we do well, doing more of it as often as we can, and growing as our resources allow. Our intention is to be the choice provider and employer for what we do in our community.

In September 2009, Dove Healthcare will open as a 50 bed Medicare certified short-term rehabilitation facility.  This South location will feature Transitions Aquatic Therapy, a bistro with daily chef prepared meals, and all private rooms with personal bathrooms.
