DoorCountyMemorialHospital (DCMH) Rehab Services provides occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), speech and massage therapy as well as athletic training services. We have 40 exceptionally qualified staff working in our department and seeing patients at 4 different northeastern Wisconsin sites: 
  • SturgeonBay - DoorCountyMemorialHospital
  • SturgeonBay - Cherry Point Mall
  • Algoma - the AlgomaMedicalCenter campus
  • Fish Creek – NorthShore Medical Clinic
 
Our therapists not only work in our therapeutic/clinic centers, but also in other DCMH areas and in the communities we serve:
  • At all DoorCounty schools - Special Education, OT, and PT and in the athletic training rooms
  • At athletic events, games and competitions throughout the county
  • “Our Nest” – the Birth to Three program - OT and PT
  • In patient homes - home care for Ministry Home Care
  • At the SeniorCenter - teaching classes & exercise programming
  • At the YMCA - performing ATC consults and Aquatic Therapy (pool therapy)

  • Unique massage opportunities - DCMHBirthing Center doing “new mom” massages; edema massage for Lymphadema patients; Swedish, Reiki and stone massages

Company History

Door County Memorial Hospital, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is a fully accredited, acute-care hospital and outpatient medical center, with 25 licensed beds.  Door County Memorial Hospital  has been serving the health care needs of the area since 1943.

The hospital offers a full range of services and specialties, including home health (a part of Ministry Home Care), and a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services and a rehab services department. It also houses North Shore Medical Clinic, which offers a full range of physician services in one convenient location.  More than 125 physicians serve on our medical staff.
