We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient-centered therapy services.
Position Overview
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role provides direct patient care designed to restore function, improve movement, relieve pain, and prevent disability. The therapist will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician orders.

Administer evidence-based physical therapy treatments to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.

Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as appropriate.

Educate patients and families regarding home exercise programs, safety, and continued rehabilitation.

Document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record accurately and timely.

Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy aides to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with nursing, occupational therapy, and other providers.

Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations, including documentation, billing, and patient privacy standards.

Adhere to departmental safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.

Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain current licensure and clinical competency.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required.

Licensure: Current license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.

Certification: Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required.

Experience: One to three years of experience in a hospital or outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.

Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, documentation accuracy, and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
