Independence Rehab is currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization.

What You'll Do
This role includes meaningful clinical work such as:

Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans

Occasionally treating clinically complex patients

Performing and progressing gait training and therapeutic exercise programs

Providing balance training and fall-prevention interventions
-
Completing wheelchair and equipment assessments
-
Performing and assisting with all types of transfers
-
Educating patients and families on safety and mobility strategies

Supervising a PTA
-
Collaborating closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

Current Idaho PT license in good standing

Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Ability to supervise a PTA
Preferred:

At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
