We’re currently seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Speech & Audiology Department at our Galion location.
Position Overview
The Pediatric Physical Therapist provides skilled physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and consultation for infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital-based outpatient setting. This role focuses on improving functional mobility, strength, coordination, and participation in age-appropriate activities through evidence-based family centered care. The Pediatric Physical Therapist works collaboratively with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) while coordinating and supervising responsibilities assigned to the assistants. They also collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and front-end staff. Responsible for operational activities including fiscal responsibility, performance improvement, and infection control and department safety.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and posses a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, in Physical Therapy.
- Must be licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio.
- BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Pediatric experience.
