Don, a seasoned Physical Therapist with decades of experience in private practice and teaching, and Joanne, an Occupational Therapist turned administrator-extraordinaire, have made Sanibel their home base after careers in both Wisconsin and Florida. Their Sanibel clinic reopened exactly one year ago following a full renovation post-Hurricane Ian. The refreshed space, filled with natural light and thoughtful design, reflects their commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

As Don explained, “Our patients want to stay on the bike path, play pickleball, golf, and stay active. Despite being a small team, the clinic functions more like a family—Joanne shared how they support staff in personal and professional pursuits, like flexible scheduling for a team member pursuing massage therapy and considering PTA school.
