Physical therapists (PTs) evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages to manage pain, improve mobility, and restore physical function following injury, illness, or surgery. They create personalized treatment plans using exercises, stretches, and manual therapy, while educating patients on recovery and injury prevention. The job of a physical therapist involves treating musculoskeletal conditions and educating patients about staying fit and preventing future injuries.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current physical therapist license issued by the licensing board of Oklahoma must be in good standing without any restrictions or sanctions by the licensing board of Oklahoma.
- Willing and able to perform considerable walking, recurring bending, lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, often more than 50 pounds.
- Advanced experience in observation, recording, and reporting accurate patient information.
General Qualifications
- Must be a team player with a high level of problem-solving and communication skills.
- Requires personal integrity and ethics, must be a resource for clinical staff, and must always maintain confidentiality.
- Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or obtain within 90 days of hire. Must maintained throughout employment. In the event certification due for renewal, must be obtained during orientation prior to any patient interaction.
- Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for Indian Child Welfare Act.
- Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
