Job Description
Our Belmont clinic is looking for a motivated, patient‑focused Physical Therapist who thrives in a collaborative, energetic environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong clinical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to supporting both patient outcomes and clinic operations.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that align with clinic standards and evidence‑based practice.
- Review physician referrals and patient medical histories to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
- Deliver high‑quality, hands‑on patient care while maintaining efficient scheduling and clinic flow.
- Establish measurable goals, update plans of care as needed, and guide patients through a structured rehabilitation process.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and insurance partners to support coordinated care and smooth clinic operations.
- Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture that enhances staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely, accurate documentation including daily notes, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
- Ensure all documentation meets clinic, payer, and regulatory requirements to support efficient billing and clean claims.
Operational Contribution
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a solutions‑driven approach that supports clinic growth and operational excellence.
- Participate in workflow improvements, uphold clinic policies, and help maintain a professional, welcoming environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current or upcoming state of MI Physical Therapy license and CPR certification
- Managerial and Marketing/Sales experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.
