Role Overview
As a Physical Therapist at our Mechanicsburg clinic, you will deliver individualized outpatient physical therapy care, diagnosing and treating patients to improve mobility, balance, strength, and overall function. You will design custom treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, monitor progress, and educate patients on home exercises and longer-term self-care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate new patients: conduct assessments and establish baseline diagnosis and mobility/function limitations.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans with clear goals and timelines.
Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions including balance, vestibular, orthopedic, or neurological rehab as needed.
Track and document patient progress, modify plans when appropriate.
Provide patient education for home exercise programs and long-term care.
Communicate with other healthcare providers when needed to deliver coordinated care.
Qualifications (Must-have)
Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program and an active PA PT license.
Minimum 1 year of outpatient neuro/ortho or vestibular rehabilitation experience (preferred).
Skilled in designing and progressing treatment plans in outpatient balance, vestibular, neuro or orthopedic settings.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating as part of a cohesive team.
Passion for helping patients with balance, vestibular disorders, neurological or orthopedic conditions.
