Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform new
patient evaluations and examinations
- Determine
necessary PT based on prescriptions, referrals, patient conditions, and records
- Plan,
prepare, and administer treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data
- Evaluate and
record the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust to achieve maximum
benefit
- Provide
education to patients on techniques for the continuum of care
- Keep timely
documentation including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial
evaluations, and discharge summaries
- Communicate
with referring physicians
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- 1+ years of experience in the field is preferred but not
required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience
with vestibular/Pelvic floor/Lymphedema is a plus
