What You'll Do
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
Supervise and collaborate with therapy technicians to provide outstanding patient care.
Maintain productivity expectations while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and regulatory standards.
Educate patients on home exercise programs using our preferred patient education platform.
Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress.
Assist with daily clinic operations as needed to support an efficient team environment.
Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Help foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence and exceptional patient experiences.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
Management experience preferred
Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Great verbal and written communication
Neat and professional appearance
Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
