Shift: Day shift with weekend & holiday requirements.
Requirements:
- Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a full-time PT to provide coverage in our 10-bed acute rehab unit where we have diagnoses including but not limited to TBI, SCI, transverse myelitis, s/p brain tumor, other neurological conditions, deconditioning from prolonged acute illness, burns, etc. Candidate must be willing to participate in and learn how to function as part of a multidisciplinary team working with nursing staff, physicians, nurse navigators, other therapies and the patient’s and their families to achieve highest possible functional outcome to prepare for return to home and school.
