BreakThrough is redefining PT — highly-specialized physical therapists, industry-leading continuing education, and one of the highest concentrations of board-certified clinicians in the area.
Practice inside a Division I football stadium. Our Boone, NC clinic sits inside Appalachian State's Kidd Brewer Stadium, treating App State student-athletes and the local community. Our team includes a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists — a distinction held by less than 1% of PTs nationally — plus multiple Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists and EIM Residency graduates.
New grad or experienced PT, there's a real path here. New grads train alongside clinicians who actively teach DPT students and mentor residents. Experienced PTs get genuine autonomy and teaching opportunities on a team already operating at a fellowship-level standard.
Boone offers mountain-town living with college-town energy — hiking, skiing, and outdoor recreation minutes away, built around App State's athletics and academic culture.
