We are currently hiring for a:
- Full-Time Mixed Community + Clinic based PT treating in the Ladson clinic and the North Charleston community (office, homes, preschools, early intervention)
Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and gross motor needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs to help children achieve their goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
- Assess the need for orthotics, adaptive equipment, and other supports, and collaborate with families throughout the process.
- Deliver high-quality, family-centered care while educating caregivers on strategies to support progress at home.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other providers to deliver coordinated care.
- Manage a diverse pediatric caseload while providing compassionate, engaging therapy that helps children reach their full potential.
Physical Therapist Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program (or equivalent degree recognized by the APTA).
- Current or eligible for South Carolina Physical Therapy licensure.
- Pediatric experience through employment or clinical rotations.
- Strong understanding of child development and pediatric motor skill progression from birth through adolescence.
