Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the PT Supervisor/Rehab Director , the PT provides physical therapy treatment and rehabiltation, as prescribed. This includes scheduling of patients, staff and new admissions as well as hands on treatments/ evaluations in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the The New Jewish Home.
Job Duties:

Evaluate and treat residents/patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance level.

Directs residents/patients in care and use of wheelchairs, canes, braces, crutches, prosthetic and orthotic devises.

Keeps records of treatments given and resident's/patient's response and progress.

Consults with Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers and other clinical staff , to coordinate treatments for individual residents/patients.

Performs other related duties as required.
