Position Details
- Maintain a highly efficient workflow, managing an average of 1.5 patients per hour (~12 patients per day), with the ability to dynamically manage more than one patient at a time when - Required
- Collaborate closely with our in-house physicians, surgeons, and healthcare teams to deliver a unified continuum of care- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical assessments and patient goals.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, post-operative protocols, and tailored home exercise programs (HEPs).- Document patient progress accurately, thoroughly, and punctually within our EMR system.
- Participate actively in regular team meetings and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to PT students or newer staff members as needed.
Schedule
We value work-life balance and offer predictable schedules with no weekend rotations
- Option A: Four 10-hour shifts; 7am-6pm; Monday-Friday; One designated day off during the week. (Note: To ensure fairness across the team, the designated weekday off rotates every 6 months.)
- Option B: Standard Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current Florida State Physical Therapist license (or eligibility/willingness to obtain before start date).
- Experience or strong clinical rotations in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
- Strong manual therapy techniques and expertise in therapeutic exercise prescription.
- An outgoing, high-energy personality with an innate ability to connect with, inspire, and motivate patients.
- Strong desire to excel specifically in a bustling outpatient orthopedic environment, including comfort with multi-patient management.
Compensation & Benefits
- $80k-$105k DOE plus performance incentives
- $1k annual continuing education stipend plus 40 hours of paid leave designated for CE courses.
