- $10,000 full time/ $5,000 part time
- $1,500/month relocation assistance for 3 months, if you do not currently have housing available within 35 miles of PDH and need to relocate to accept the offered position”
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
- Treats injuries, manage chronic conditions, prevent future problems, improve physical function and educate patients to maximize and/or maintain their maximum level of independence.
- Records and reports to the physician the patient’s reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient’s condition as required/needed.
- Educates patients and their families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) and other necessary therapeutic equipment/devices.
- Attends rehabilitation center staff meetings and in-service presentations.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active California Physical Therapy License (in good standing)
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Compliance with all California and federal PT regulatory requirements
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage diverse patient populations and diagnoses
- Proficiency with computers and EMR systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
