About the Opportunity
Join a collaborative rehabilitation team providing exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to active-duty service members, military retirees, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to improve patient mobility, restore function, and support military readiness in a modern military treatment facility.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Outpatient Clinic
- No routine weekends
- No on-call
- Federal holidays observed
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neuromuscular, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practice
- Perform functional assessments and outcome evaluations
- Educate patients regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Document patient care within the electronic medical record
- Promote readiness and return-to-duty goals for military personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Current, full, active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist within the past three (3) years
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- MUST be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
- Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- Military or sports medicine experience
- Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries
