PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Perform the duties and provide patient care as a physical therapist using professional discretion in terms of the nature and scope of therapy as outlined in the patient plan of care.
B. Maintain proper patient charting in accordance with Indiana Physical Therapy policies.
C. Work in parallel and/or conjunction with the Senior Therapist at your assigned clinic on patient care.
D. Maintain effective communication within the clinic with Senior Therapist, other therapy, and office staff, as well as IPT Owners and Administrator, regarding any situation warranting their attention and/or recommendations.
E. To provide treatment in accordance with APTA and IPT professional standards.
F. Ensure that all established policies and procedures are followed.
G. Manage all activities within your span of control in accordance with Indiana Physical Therapy policies, utilizing sound principles of practice.
H. To practice and promote positive relationships between clinic/office staff.
I. Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with patients, referral sources, and fellow staff members.
