MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic team in Brentwood, TN.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services.
Document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently.
Educate patients on home exercise programs to maximize outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
Supervise and work closely with Therapy Technicians.
Maintain productivity and documentation standards.
Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on outstanding patient care.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
Management experience preferred
Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Great verbal and written communication
Neat and professional appearance
Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
