MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to become part of our expanding outpatient orthopedic practice. What You'll Do
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Supervise and mentor therapy technicians
Meet productivity expectations while maintaining excellent patient care
Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and regulatory standards
Educate patients on home exercise programs using clinic-approved software
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress
Assist with clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment
Participate in continuing education and ongoing clinical development initiatives
QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
Management experience preferred
Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Great verbal and written communication
Neat and professional appearance
Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
