Great physical therapy starts with great mentorship — and that's exactly what you'll find at BreakThrough Physical Therapy's Yanceyville Street clinic in Greensboro.
We're hiring an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a team where you'll grow your skills across orthopedics, spine, vestibular rehab, dry needling, and aquatic therapy — plus specialty programs like Stand Up 2 Stenosis and LSVT.
If you're an experienced clinician, you'll find real autonomy here — the trust to run your own caseload, the respect of a team that values what you already bring, and the room to mentor others as you continue advancing your own expertise.
Your Growth Doesn't Stop at Graduation
We build mentorship into the job — structured, hands-on support and industry-leading continuing education through Evidence In Motion (EIM), including board certification backing as you carve out your own specialty and shape your career on your terms. For experienced PTs, that also means real pathways beyond direct patient care — clinical excellence tracks, leadership development, and hybrid roles for clinicians ready to shape the practice, not just work within it.
A Team That Actually Lives the Outdoor Life
You'll be joining a clinic where the trailhead isn't just a talking point — it's how the team spends its weekends. Our clinic manager is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist who rock climbs, skydives, and BASE jumps; one of our PTs is a fellow climber who hikes with his dogs; another is a hiking and motorcycling enthusiast who loves working with athletes and active patients. This is a team that gets, firsthand, why getting patients back to movement matters.
Trade Your Commute for a Trailhead
Greensboro puts the mountains within easy reach. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Pilot Mountain are under an hour away — close enough for an after-work hike. Boone and Blowing Rock are a quick 90-minute drive, perfect for a weekend of trail running, mountain biking, or climbing. Asheville's full mountain-town scene is about 2.5 hours down the road, and the coast isn't much farther in the other direction.
Closer to home, Greensboro's own greenway system means you don't even need to leave town to get outside — miles of trails right where you live and work. There's also a solid local outdoor and climbing scene: indoor climbing gyms for training between trips, area lakes for paddling and kayaking, and running and cycling clubs that make it easy to find your people. Add in a lively young-professional scene downtown — breweries, coffee shops, and a growing food scene — and you've got a city where building a career and building a life outside of work go hand in hand.
