Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. This individual will develop personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and long-term wellness
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active NYS licensure
- Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development
